My computer is having a problem and I can not get Matlab to run properly anymore. Can anyone help me troubleshoot my problem? Thank you! Here are the steps I took to solve this:
The first step is to check that both the computer and the CPU are running the software properly. Try different commands, and see whether the software still runs or not. In the MATLAB window, under the Run menu, click the command line option. It is in the upper right corner. In the command line option, there are three numbers separated by dots.
The second step is to check that the screen and CPU are running the software correctly. Click the “Settings” icon in the upper left corner. In the result pane, there are two numbers separated by dots. They represent the maximum and minimum values of the MATLAB options. If the “Settings” tab is open, there is also an option with a plus sign above it, indicating “increased”.
The third step is to run the “Matlab Process Diagnostic”. It is located on the “ideos” section of the panel. It should be able to show the following results: “MATLAB Process Diagnostic succeeded”. The next step is to fix the problem. I cannot get Matlab to run properly again, so I had to turn to other resources.
First of all, I tried to load up Matlab Express for some reason and it failed me. Then I tried another version which worked but I was not able to get matlab to run correctly. Finally I tried the Math Helper tool but I was not able to get it to work either. Then I knew it was the Matlab problem, so I turned to a Matlab user who had managed to solve my problem, and this guy was able to provide me with a few tips and solutions to my problem.
Before trying the steps provided by the Math Helper tool, try to get rid of the matlab setup errors using the Fix Attribute Tool. The errors can appear at the “jit” field Continue where matlab is installed. Selecting “itches” from the drop down menu will show the causes of the matlab installation failure. The first thing I did when I got the error was to reinstall matlab using the default matlab installation. This solved my problem, but the errors showed up after some time. In order to make sure this does not happen again, I disabled the default installation and enabled the matlab development environment.
Then I tried using the matlab application again, by selecting the “Tools” menu, then choosing “Extensions”. It seemed that this solved my problem. However, I could not get matlab to perform any task at all, and the error messages did not go away. After going through various things related to the matlab error, I found the reason why the matlab application was unable to perform the assignments. When I started working on the project I had started several months back, I used Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library to compile some external program codes. Later on the project manager asked us to recompile all the files using mscorlib.
This made the matlab error occur again because Visual C++ was unable to read the external program files that were created during the compilation process. If you want to fix the matlab error, you have to restart matlab after having disable the default installation. Also, make use of the Microsoft tool “Visible Window Tool” to open a new window and then select “Compile tab” in the “MATLAB Options” menu. You can also open the matlab application and then click “Run” option to load the external program that caused the problem to occur. These are the simple steps that helped me solve my problem with matlab.
